Coordinates all Grab N Go items for the entire campus. Coordinates special functions and related activities. Develops new catering programs and new business. Assists in planning and implementation of cafeteria theme meals and promotions. Maintains reports and records. Follows standard practices and complies with regulatory agencies. Follow-up with customers after events. Control cost, labor, and purchasing. Oversee 5 C-Store locations and maintain Starbucks "We proudly brew" standards.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required
High school diploma or GED required.
Food service experience in a high volume setting or catering experience and/or culinary training required. Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills required. Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and implement large events, while maintaining budgetary constraints. Must be knowledgeable of and able to follow the standards of federal, state and regulatory agencies and JCAHO for sanitation, food preparation and handling. Must complete the following Huntsville Hospital classes through Corporate University within six months: Just Culture, Top Employment Traps for Managers, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People in Healthcare, Workplace Professionalism, Selecting the Right Employees, Personal Style Indicator, and A Leaders Guide to Worker's Compensation.
